Sheep's MILK, salt, lamb rennet, lactic ferments.

Characteristics
Well-supported cylindrical shape, black rind with specific coating agents. Hard, compact paste with a color ranging from bright white to straw yellow.
Aromatic and slightly pungent flavor, more or less intense depending on the aging. It is produced by scrupulously respecting the disciplinary for the production of Pecorino Romano DOP to guarantee the consumer to taste an excellent Italian product of excellence.
The Pecorino Romano wheels are subjected to marking at the origin on the entire heel using a specific matrix.

Aging 12 months

In the kitchen
Typical table cheese paired with good acacia honey or fruit compotes, excellent at the end of a meal. Surprisingly good grated on pasta to give that something extra to the flavor of the dish.

It is presented in the form of a vacuum-packed slice/wedge to preserve its organoleptic qualities, weighing approximately 200g.

It is also possible to purchase it in 1/4 wheel form weighing 1kg.
